Typical Domestic Ruck System®

Several versions of the single home RUCK systems have been used.
The most economical scheme is shown below.

Typical Commercial Ruck System®

Commercial Wastewaters are high in nitrogen due to urine but the source contains little to no greywater. Liquid soap is injected. Soap has to be added to a soap container about once per month.

Typical Ruck Retrofit

For existing facilities, separating the greywater and blackwater plumbing drain lines is not feasible. Approximately 60% of the nitrogen can be removed by retrofitting the Ruck system. A dipper or positive flow divider is needed to divide the septic tank effluent.
