Operation & Maintenance of Ruck Systems^®

Because RUCK SYSTEMS^® are preceded with a septic tank, the operation and maintenance of the systems is the same as for standard septic systems. (Exception is the commercial RUCK system or where soap is used for nitrogen removal).

• Pump out septic tanks every 2 to 3 years
• Fix plumbing leaks immediately
• Use standard good quality septic tanks, preferably two compartment tanks
• Do not dispose of toxic liquids and food leftovers into the system
• No additives is needed nor recommended
• Future owner of the system is wise to seek experienced engineers for design and experienced contractors to give you a system to last you a lifetime
